The Transformation Working Group (TWG) will work to evaluate and improve the state’s approach to mental health care. The group includes representation from all state agencies affected by mental health issues and consumers and families. Transformation within the ODMH-funded mental health system will be guided by the Strategic Advisory Committee, a diverse group of mental health system representatives. The Planning Council's primary purpose is to maintain and support the concept of community support systems within all levels of the mental health care delivery system, and to promote state-of-the-art systems, services, treatment, and the supports which are based on Community Support Services (CSS) and culturally competent mental health recovery principles. Content Working Groups are ongoing or new interagency groups focusing on improving services including mental health services.
